HelpfulPapers.com is a relatively new writing service, only about a year old. Some students who have tried out the service have come to our site and provided some feedback and asked for experiences from others. Given the nature of the feedback, we felt it was time to complete a HelpfulPapers review, to provide potential customers with an objective picture of this new company. We have used all of our standard criteria and factors – the website content, including the quality of writing, company-posted testimonials, samples and blog posts, information about writers, customer reviews we find on the web or submitted to our site, prices, benefits, communication with customer support, and the quality of a short research paper we order. This is what we have found.
WRITER QUALITY
At this point, HelpfulPapers is focused only on academic writing products and services. It provides original writing of essays, papers, reports and reviews, case studies, lab reports, presentations, etc. It also offers admissions and scholarship essays, homework help, multiple-choice tests, editing and proofreading.
Students from high school through Ph.D. programs can order products or services.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT/QUALITY CONTROL
The HelpfulPapers.com website does not provide a lot of information. Perhaps this will change as it matures a bit.
One concern we have in the area of trust is that samples the company has posted on the site are actually pieces we have seen before on other websites. And these pieces were published long before this company launched. This was a big red flag for us.
We also have very little information about the writers. We did learn, though, that if a student wants the guarantee of a native English-speaking writer, he will have to pay extra for it.
Quality of products is a concern. Customers are told that once they pace an order, the company will provide three writers for “interviews” before selecting one. Our “interviews” were not productive. Answer were curt and short, and we were unable to get specific information about their degrees and writing experience.
The feedback we have found on HelpfulPapers is not positive. There are complaints about quality of writing across the board. The only positive comments we had were that products were delivered on time.
The website content itself reflects ESL writing – grammatical and word usage errors.
The paper we received was not submissable as it was. We would have requested revisions but did not know where to begin.
ORDERING AND RECEIVING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
HelpfulPapers prices fall within the average range. They begin at $8.55/page for high school products with deadlines of two weeks. They graduate to $53/page for doctoral level work. Customers have options of taking these standard prices or paying more for better writers and/or guarantee of an ENL writer.
We did not find a program of discounts on the website and contacted customer support about them. We were told that we could request a discount of 5% and did receive a promo code to enter into the order form. This brought the price of our paper from $144 to $136.80.
Payment processing was secure, so no worries there.
BENEFITS AND PERKS
Standard free pages are provided, along with revisions and the promise of a plagiarism check and proofreading before delivery. We are not certain who proofread our paper, but it was not good.
OFF-SITE FEEDBACK
The 99 Papers writing resource feedback that we were able to find on the web wasn`t positive enough. The same situation was with the direct comments from some of the customers that we had received.
SUMMARY/RECOMMENDATIONS
We are not impressed with this writing service. It is new. But looking at the pros & cons, we find very little to praise, other than it does meet delivery times and is not a fraud or scam. Quality of writing is poor and writer expertise is questionable. Given this information, we are assigning a rating of
“poor.” We may revisit this company in another year and see if improvements have been made.
